Long Island Software & Technology Network (LISTnet)

Long Island Software and Technology Network, LISTnetThe Long Island Software & Technology Network (LISTnet) is one of  the largest groups specifically focused on growing the technology industry on Long Island. They are most well known for their Special Interest Groups (SIGs) which are essentially sub committees that run various educational and networking events to support the technology niches that make up their membership.

Below are a few of their SIGs:

  • Cloud Computing
  • Data Center Technology
  • E-Business
  • Healthcare
  • Lean Startup
  • LI Start-Ups
  • Media, Entertainment & Technology
  • Multi Media
  • Software Development
  • Wireless / CTI
  • Women In Technology

One of the biggest assets LISTnet has to offer is it’s network. With its larger membership base and big fish sponsors, as a member you have 1 or 2 degrees of separation from anyone in the Long Island tech scene.

If you are thinking about doing your own tech startup or are currently in one on the Island we highly recommend you look into joining one of LISTnet’s SIGs.
